COMMISIONS

Yes! I offer commissions and truly love making them. It makes me so happy to make something meaningful and sentimental! Whether it’s the mountain that reminds you of home, somewhere you got to go on a hike, the place where you got married, the mountain you skied on as a kid, the mountain that reminds you of someone special, whatever the reason is - I can’t wait to make something that reminds you of your memorable place.

 

For commissions, you get to choose:

-mountain range/peak

-size of canvas

-patterns (2-3) 

-color

-sun/moon/neither

-gold leaf/no gold leaf

-wood stain/ no wood stain

 

All commissions are made on birch wood canvases. I order the smaller canvases through an art store, and my dad handmakes all canvases 2’ and up. If you’d like a custom size canvas, that is an option too, just shoot me a message.

 

I know there are a lot of options, and I’ll gladly choose patterns and colors if you’d like.

 

If you’ve seen some of my work that you’d like me to mimic i.e. different compositions, quilted patterns, embroidered work, other things that don’t fit into the model of options I’ve created above, please send me a reference image and I can make you something in that style.

 

No flowers, pets, or other animals incorporated into your piece. I’ve experimented with all of these things before and don’t feel confident that it will turn out well yet!

 

I’ll send you an e-mail once you place your order so we can start planning your custom piece. Commissions typically take 1-4 months to complete, depending on my schedule. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions.
